Traditional Halloween Caramel Apples
- 12 apples + 12 popsicle sticks
- 4 packages of caramels
- 8 tablespoons of heavy cream
- crushed nuts
Instructions:
- Rinse apples, dry and remove stems and insert a popsicle sticks into stems of each apple.
- Combine the cream and caramels in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until caramel is melted and smooth.
- Dip the apples until completely covered. Roll in the crushed nuts.
- Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
- Place the apples upside down on paper and put the in a refrigerator.
- They look shiny and the children are crazy about them !
