Veggie pillows
Instructions:
- 1⁄2 green pepper;
- 1 celery stalk;
- 1 carrot, peeled;
- 2 tablespoons ranch-style salad dressing;
- 1 slice pita bread.
- CHOOSE:
- Firm, smooth peppers that have good color and shape and do not have soft spots or wrinkled skin.
- STORE: Peppers should be stored in the refrigerator and are best if used within 3-5 days.
- HOW TO USE: Wash well and remove seeds and stem.When cutting hot peppers, wear rubber gloves and keep the gloves on while cleaning the cutting board, knife, and gloves. Do not touch your eyes when you are cutting hot peppers.
- Wash vegetables and chop into small pieces.
- Combine vegetables in a small bowl and add dressing.
- Cut pita bread in two half-moon shapes and open pita pocket.
- Stuff veggies into each pocket.
- Serve.
